To have your crowns fitted, you need at least two appointments with your dentist. Dr. Szyperski takes you through the procedure on the first appointment and allows you to ask as many questions about the process. Then, she will take impressions or imprints of your teeth so that your crowns can be made.
When your crowns are ready, you need to visit Dr. Szyperski again. Once she tests that your new crowns fit perfectly, she will use adhesive to bond your crowns permanently on your front teeth.
However, it will take a few days to get used to dental crowns. But after you adjust to your new crowns, you will barely notice you have them on. As a matter of fact, your crowns will fit so naturally that only you and your dentist will know you have them.
